The Alabama Center for Real Estate has announced the addition of Cherie Moman as Education & Marketing Coordinator.

A native of Tuscaloosa, Cherie graduated from Tuscaloosa Academy and the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Human Environmental Sciences – Consumer Affairs (cum laude) and an M.S. in Human Environmental Sciences – Interactive Technology.

Moman has over 20 years of marketing experience as well.

“We are thrilled to have someone of Cherie’s caliber join the center during this exciting time in the real estate industry,” said ACRE Executive Director Grayson Glaze. “Technology continues to drive changes within the industry, and ACRE is no exception. As we expand our service platforms over the next year, Cherie’s background in real estate education and marketing will be invaluable to the center.”

“I’m excited to be joining ACRE as the Education & Marketing Coordinator,” Moman said. “I welcome the opportunity to provide the highest level of knowledge and skills that Alabama real estate professionals can use to grow and add value to the services they offer clients.”

Moman is best known for her work with her husband, David Moman, on the Tuscaloosa-based Crimson Homes Magazine, a monthly real estate publication covering Tuscaloosa and Bibb Counties.

They also provide real estate photography, video and social media marketing services. Crimson Homes was recognized as Affiliate of the Year by the Tuscaloosa Women’s Council of Realtors in 2008 and by the Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors in 2015.

Moman is also recognized by the Alabama Real Estate Commission as a Continuing Education Instructor, while also conducting in-house technology training for real estate companies.

She is also a GRI technology instructor for the Alabama Association of Realtors, with the designations ABR (Registered Trademark), ePRO (Registered Trademark) and GREEN (NAR approved instructor for each).

Moman currently serves as chair of the Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors Education Committee.
