Markets: Tuscaloosa Area
Tuscaloosa year-to-date home sales through June rose 7 percent over the same period in 2016.
The first half of 2017 was strong for the market, as the Alabama Center for Real Estate will bring ACRE Engage to Tuscaloosa Realtors on Friday, Aug. 11. The event will take place at the Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors, starting at 8:15 and ending after lunch.
There were 280 homes sold during the month of June, which was an all-time high for the month in Tuscaloosa County, according to ACRE data dating back to 2001.
Engage is a morning-long power session designed to educate Realtors on some of the latest and best uses of technology and marketing.
The program will culminate with a local market review and outlook by ACRE Executive Director Grayson Glaze.
